Welcome!
Welcome to the new and improved Frankenmuth Parks and Recreation page! We are so excited to bring you a site that is more streamlined and user friendly. Here are some new features that we are excited to tell you about:
- Calendar: The calendar will show you when any leagues/programs/events are happening. It will also allow you to look and see when a facility is available/unavailable to rent on a certain date.
- Request a Rental: You can now request to rent a pavilion online! Fill out the form and send it in to us. PLEASE NOTE: Just because you send in the form, that does not mean your request is filled. We will reach out to you as soon as possible, but if you haven't heard from us within a couple of days, please call us.
Creating an Account
Here is your how to for creating an account for RecDesk:
1. Go to the Home Page and click on "Create Account"
2. Fill out all the necessary fields
3. Click "Next"
4. Fill out all necessary fields
5. Click "Submit"
Once an account is created, an email will be sent to the department to approve your account. Once it is approved, you will be sent an email telling you that you have been approved. Then you will be able to register for events/ facilities.
Registering for an Event/Program
Here is how to register for an event/program/league:
1. Login to your account
2. If you are registering your child, make sure you add them to your account before you go to the programs page
a. Their "account" will need to be approved before you can sign them up
3. Click on "Programs" on the top of the page
4. Choose which program you would like to register for by clicking "register now" next to the correct program
5. Fill out all necessary information, then click "save"
6. Double check that everything looks correct, then if you are done registering, click "Go to Checkout"
7. A waiver will pop up, click on "I Accept Waiver"
8. A screen will pop up with some required forms
9. Click on all forms, read them over and fill out any necessary info and click "I have completed all forms"
10. Once you have completed all forms, it will bring you to a checkout screen
a. PLEASE NOTE: There is now a 3% per transaction fee that will be applied for all credit card purchases
11. Fill out all necessary information and click "Submit"
12. Follow anything on the next screen, and you are all set!
Reserving a Facility
1. Login to your account
2. Click on "Facilities" at the top of the site and choose which facility you would like to reserve
3. Once you have chosen the facility, click on the green button that says "Reserve" and this will bring you to the calendar
4. In the date that you would like to rent the facility, click the green "reserve" button
5. Fill out the necessary info at the top
6. Click on the green plus button for the rate
7. Then click "Add to Cart"
8. If you are all done, click "Go to Checkout"
9. A waiver will pop up, click "I accept waiver"
10. You will be required to look at the rental policies for whatever facility you are renting, click "view/edit form"
11. Sign and date the form
12. Go back to the previous screen and click "I have completed all forms"
13. A screen will pop up talking about payment, click "continue"
14. Your rental request is now submitted and someone from the department will contact you about further steps.
PLEASE NOTE: Submitting the app does not mean that your reservation is all set. The department will approve the rental and then you will get an email saying your reservation has been approved. If the department has questions, we will reach out to you and see what we can do to help. If you haven't heard from us after a couple of business days, please call us.
